Kelci

Kelci Eaton, MS, CCC-SLP

Kelci is an American Speech and Hearing Association certified and licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) who has experience working with clients with autism, apraxia, articulation/phonological disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders, dementia, aphasia and other cognitive disabilities.

After earning her Bachelor of Arts in theatre with a minor in psychology from St. Ambrose University (Davenport, IA) in 2018, she stayed at St. Ambrose to earn her Master of Science in speech-language pathology in 2020. After graduation, Kelci accepted a position at a local skilled nursing facility until she decided she needed a change of scenery! In September 2020, she accepted a travel therapy contract position to provide speech therapy to middle school students in the Mesa County District 51 School District. She had never been out of the Midwest before, but it was the best decision she has ever made!

Kelci enjoyed working in the schools for two years but found her way back to her passion for autism at Pediatric Psychology Services of Colorado. Kelci is extremely devoted to neurodiversity affirming practices as well as a multidisciplinary team approach to ensure each of her clients receives services in a way that is most beneficial and comfortable for them. Additionally, Kelci is currently pursuing a second master’s degree to becoming dually certified as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and speech-language pathologist. When Kelci is not working, you can find her doing basically anything outside with her partner, Katherine, and their beautiful 3-year-old daughter.


Danielle

Danielle Barmann, Occupational Therapist & Specialty Therapy Director

Danielle Barmann graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 2016 and has been working as a pediatric therapist in Colorado ever since. She specializes in feeding therapy, cognitive adaptations, dyslexia, social pragmatic difficulties and social emotional problems. During her free time, Danielle enjoys skiing with her dog, Tucker, hiking and cooking with friends.


Emily Basset

Emily Basset, MS OTR/L, Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Emily Bassett is a Board Certified and licensed occupational therapist (OT) who specializes in pediatrics and childhood development. She has extensive experience working with children who have fine motor delays, gross motor delays, sensory processing disorder, visual motor and perceptual difficulties, and developmental delays. After earning a bachelor’s degree in social work from Northern Arizona University in 2003, she worked in the field for eight years and developed a passion for occupational therapy. She received her master’s degree in OT from AT Still University in Mesa, Arizona, in January 2015. Upon graduation, Emily accepted a travel position to perform occupational therapy in various areas of practice in different parts of the country, including Colorado, Washington, Idaho and Alaska. Emily believes strongly in collaborating with others and using a multidisciplinary approach to better assess and treat the children and families in this community. When Emily is not playing with kids and practicing her craft, you can find her exploring the outdoors with her husband and two children.


Heather

Heather Noonan, Occupational Therapy Assistant

Heather Noonan is a board-certified and licensed occupational therapy assistant working in early intervention and pediatrics. She graduated from Regis University with a bachelor’s degree in international business and marketing in 2007, and she completed her occupational therapy assistant coursework at Pima Medical Institute in December 2021.

Heather plays a critical role in helping children and families achieve their developmental goals. Her work focuses on supporting children who may be struggling with various developmental challenges, such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care tasks and social interaction.

As an occupational therapy assistant, she works under the guidance and supervision of Danielle Barmann and is responsible for carrying out treatment plans, providing interventions and monitoring progress. She works closely with children and their families to understand their unique needs, interests and challenges and helps develop individualized plans tailored to each child’s specific goals.

Heather loves spending her free time outdoors and enjoys all the activities available on the Western Slope. As a member of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee at Swann Clinic, she is passionate about providing services to those populations that are disproportionately underserved.

Taylor Hensley, Occupational Therapy Assistant

Taylor Hensley is a board-certified, licensed occupational therapy assistant. She graduated from Casper College in 2022 and has a deep appreciation for the multidisciplinary approach of our team. She worked in pediatrics as a paraprofessional in Flagstaff and has worked as a massage therapist since 2015. Supervised by Danielle Barmann, she is pleased to be providing services to families in the Rifle, Clifton and Grand Junction areas. Those services include implementation of treatment plans with interventions and monitoring the progress made toward each client’s goals.

When she is not working, Taylor enjoys hiking, camping and visiting with family and friends.


Savannah

Savannah Miller, MS, CCC-SLP

Savannah holds a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Emerson College. She is American Speech and Hearing Association certified and a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.

Savannah has accumulated extensive experience working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as a diverse range of neurodiverse and medically complex pediatric patients. Her expertise lies in addressing speech disorders, language disorders and feeding disorders. Savannah is a SOS feeding specialist, emphasizing her dedication to providing comprehensive care for children with feeding difficulties. Additionally, she specializes in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), showcasing her proficiency in implementing innovative communication solutions.

At the core of Savannah’s professional philosophy is her unwavering commitment to ensuring that every individual she works with has access to effective communication methods. Savannah’s work is driven by a genuine desire to empower each child and family she encounters, fostering meaningful connections and enhancing the quality of life for those she serves.


Leisha

Leisha Adams, MS, CCC-SLP

Leisha is an American Speech and Hearing Association certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with a Masters degree from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Austin, TX.

Leisha has training in feeding therapy, speech and language disorders, social communication disorders and communication using Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC) devices. Her focus is to use a collaborative, holistic approach throughout the assessment process while continuing that same collaborative, “whole child” approach through treatment planning and therapy sessions. Leisha believes that it takes a multidisciplinary team working together to provide the best care for each individual.

When Leisha has free time she enjoys the outdoors, hiking, biking, paddle boarding and gardening. She also enjoys spending time with her spouse and adult children, eating good food and watching Netflix.
